About Graham

A lifetime behind the camera

Graham started out as an apprentice in his father's studio on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, and has been a professional photographer for his whole working life since. Film gave way to digital and black and white gave way to colour, but the two things that make a photograph have not changed at all: light, and timing.

That passion turned into an international photography business during the golden age of luxury travel, taking him from Glasgow to the Bahamas and a good deal further, working in some awkward corners of the world and still coming home with the picture. The greatest honour of the lot came closer to home: being chosen as the photographer for Royal Wootton Bassett, and photographing royal visits to the town for over a decade.

Now settled in Blunsdon, Graham is well known at the wedding venues around Swindon and Wiltshire and works across the county and beyond, photographing weddings, engagements, portraits, pets and commercial work. For him there is no greater test than a wedding: so many moments that only happen once, all in a single day.
